Storage Solutions
We can offer outdoor storage for construction materials and machinery. Our secure facilities are used to store pallet loads of bricks, precast concrete, paving, aggregate and many other vital products that are used in construction projects in the East Midlands. To support this, we have mechanical handling equipment to load and offload materials offering our customers a seamless and hassle free service.
Customers can arrange for surplus materials to be delivered to us direct from the manufacturer, or we pick up the materials from construction sites using our own equipment and haulage fleet. We deliver the materials back when they are required. This frees up space on construction sites, with the satisfaction that the materials can be called down when required.
Flexible storage options with no fixed storage periods. We aim to work with all our customers to find the most convenient storage solution.

Low-loader for plant and equipment moves
We have a growing fleet specialising in transporting commercial vehicles and plant machinery. Our team is highly skilled and are trained to a high standard. An APC Civils’ Plant and Heavy Haulage driver has a portfolio of skills specifically:
- CPCS – Slinger/Signaller A40
- CPCS – A50 Loader/Securer STGO
- CPCS – Dump Truck Articulated Chassis A56

Lorry mounted forklift truck (Moffett), lorry and trailer
Our truck-mounted Moffett forklifts are 3.5T and are really popular with our customers. Our drivers can unload trucks and trailers without waiting for on-site equipment to become available, so improving productivity. This combination is ideal for working on construction sites as they fit into smaller spaces.
An APC Civils’ driver will have additional training specifically:
- CPCS – Slinger/Signaller A40
- CPCS – A50 Loader/Securer STGO
- NPORS – Moffett training

Flatbed and general haulage
We have a range of flatbed haulage options that provide a flexible and versatile solution. Our flatbed trailers offer a great option when you need to load or unload using a crane, or where you have limited access. We regularly move containers and temporary buildings, concrete barriers, steel girders and fencing. All our drivers are regularly trained and hold the relevant certificate of competence. All our tractor units have tracking devices and cameras, so you can get up-to-date information on the schedule of your delivery
